I’m waiting for my flight to start boarding. In the meanwhile I started looking around for ways to drain my bank account.
Discount tire has 10% off and Bridgestone has a $70 rebate so naturally I bought some sticky bois. They will be installed when I’m back home next week. Did I need new tires? No. Should I be left alone with nothing to do? No.
I’m more excited about the tires than my trip this long weekend :)
Edit: they are for the Mini btw

These will probably ruin other tires for you. RIP your wallet when these wear out. Lol

I’ll probably autox it again now. Double event weekend is coming up, Mini one day and Vette the other :)

I earn money to spend it on my cars, I'm fine with this!

I was thinking of doing the same, as my current set probably have four more events in them. But I missed August, will miss September, and am not excited by autocross right now, so I'm making the prudent decision to hold off. I know I'll regret that if I get to the point where I need replacements and they aren't on sale.

Thats what I was thinking as well, the sale essentially means that I would not have to pay for installation, balancing and taxes.
